Many people enjoyed Froglife's pond dipping session. Despite the dry weather they managed to find a good selection of insects, crustaceans, annelids and amphibians making their home in the ponds in the meadow.

No adults were found; adults typically move out of the water after breeding season to damp terrestrial habitats including rough grassland, woodland, hedgerows, and grasslands
