Fire Danger!!

Please take extra care in this weather. Fires can start so easily in the woods and countryside and spread so quickly.

Prompt attention by a local resident and the fire crews prevented a fire in Beech Wood being much worse. Hopefully the trees will recover and the undergrowth will grow back.
