Danger deep water

The two ponds by Jenny's Wood have been dredged and cleared of reeds. Although the water level seems low after this hot dry summer please be aware that the centre of the pools are still very deep. This is a potential danger now the access is so open.

Over the next few months the water level will rise and extend the area of the ponds and the vegetation will quickly start to regrow. In future we hope to manage the reeds to keep the pond waters more visible and accessible.
