Volunteers needed for 'Boston Tree Party' event at town's new nature reserve

Volunteers are needed to take part in a tree-planting event at a new nature reserve in Boston.

Work is ongoing at the Dion's Wood nature reserve - as pictured recently from Pilgrim Hospital.

The planting will take place at Dion’s Wood on Sunday, December 4 – an event which has been named the ‘Boston Tree Party’.

New wood with 16,000 trees will be planted in Boston -  The facility will offer a peaceful haven for local people

Work is expected to begin soon on what will be Dion’s Wood Nature Reserve after plans for a 16,000 tree and shrub development were approved by Boston Borough Council.
