We will be charged to have litter and dog waste collected!

Boston Woods Trust has been advised by the Boston Borough Council that from April we will have to pay to have the bins for litter and dog waste collected from the carparks at our sites. A fortnightly collection will cost us half of our regular income from supporters which will inevitably compromise our routine maintenance activities.

Our many visitors appreciate the important facility we provide and we receive frequent compliments on how well the woods are maintained by our volunteers but there are essential costs involved.

To cover this newly imposed charge we would need at least 100 new regular supporters.

Could you afford £20 a year to become part of this valuable project?
